Not yet — but it's on our roadmap. We can't give an exact timeline, but a mobile app with sync is definitely coming.

Yes. If you purchase a lifetime license, you'll also have access to the the mobile app — at no extra cost. It's our way of thanking early supporters.

Because that's where most work happens today—inside the browser. Desktop apps used to be the norm, but not anymore. And theres another reason: convenience. For people with ADHD or wandering minds, even opening a separate app can feel like a monumental task. By living in your browser, Otto removes that extra step. No switching apps, no added resistance.

In the free version, you can use the core features like the Pomodoro timer and Web Blocker for free, with generous limits. Upgrading to Otto Pro unlocks other features like scheduled blocking, blocking specific URLs, task timer, autoblock, analytics and more. You can also explore these premium features in the free version with limited functionality.

Otto is designed for professionals and creatives who spend much of their time working on a computer. It's especially suited for disorganized creatives, scattered thinkers, or those who feel their focus often wanders. If you aren't then don't worry, you might still like Otto.

We're an independent business. We don't rely on VC funding or data sales. Your purchase directly sustains the development of the product and brand.

We don't offer a traditional free trial, because Otto runs on a freemium model. That means you can already use parts of the Pro features for free—and if you find them helpful, you can upgrade anytime to unlock the full experience.

We don't know, it might if we decide to add user accounts and a cloud service. But for now, we don't plan on introducing it.

Yes, you keep it for a lifetime.

No, once the license expires you can't use the pro version. However, you will be downgraded to the free version and you can use that.

Yes, please email us within 14 days of purchase. We'll refund you without any questions.

Well in the unlikely case of this happening (since we're independent), if you bought the lifetime plan, we'll give you the entire packed chrome extension so you can run it yourself.

No, we're not in the business of data collection. We respect your privacy and we don't collect or share any kind of browsing data.
